Welcome to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School (OLSH).
Our community is home to 490 students, and our continued growth from a two‑stream school to an emerging three‑stream model from Kindergarten to Year 4 reflects the trust families place in us and the vibrant learning culture we are building together.
At OLSH, we imagine a future where every child is empowered to discover their gifts, deepen their curiosity and shape their own learning journey. As a Newman Selective Gifted Education Program school, we honour the uniqueness of each learner and place their growth at the centre of our mission. Our commitment to lifelong learning is lived out through contemporary, evidence‑based teaching practices and a culture that embraces innovation, reflection and continuous improvement. In partnership with our families, teachers and staff, we strive to create learning experiences that inspire, challenge and nurture every student.
Our strong connection with Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Randwick and our parish priests enriches the spiritual heart of our school. Through meaningful liturgical celebrations and shared moments of faith, we cultivate a community grounded in compassion, belonging and hope.
OLSH is an innovative, future‑ready learning community that empowers students to grow with confidence. As a ‘Collaborating Community’, we are proud of our partnerships with local businesses, organisations and neighbouring schools, including Platinum Pre‑school, Brigidine College and Marcellin College. These relationships strengthen our students’ transitions into Kindergarten and into our Catholic secondary colleges, and they broaden the opportunities available to our learners as they grow.
As I begin my leadership at OLSH, I am energised by the possibilities ahead. Together, we will continue to shape a school where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish — academically, spiritually and personally.
