Our teachers know their students and work with them to help them realise their potential as learners. Our focus on authentic learning and authentic assessment ensures that we challenge our students to grow in their learning and achieve their personal best.

Throughout our community of Sydney Catholic schools, we have shown high performance of our students in measures such as NAPLAN and the HSC.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Randwick Learning and Achievement

Our school is a high performing school in academic, sports and the creative arts domains.

Our NAPLAN results are consistently higher than comparable schools which is achieved partly by the focus on goal setting which includes parents and students in the process each year.

Many students follow representative pathways for sport, some reaching state and national representation levels. Each year we participate in the International Competition and Assessment for Schools  (ICAS) with many students receiving high results. We have had students’ writing published as a result of their submissions to writing competitions and some success in the Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiad (APSMO). In the creative arts, we have had students win the annual Sydney Catholic Schools Christmas Art Competition. Public Speaking and Debating Competitions are also well represented by our school between neighbouring Botany-Randwick Network Schools.
